Today at 100 Mary Street we
made approximately 2 weeks worth of EM Bokashi for 10-20 average
households according to the Living Soil website. It should be ready to
use next week. Phone 0121 446 4798 if you want to try some. More info

* We mixed 5L of
water (which had been left to stand for several days to let the
chlorine out) with 5 tbsp molasses and 50ml of EM bokashi purchased
from Living Soil.
* We added 1.1 kg of this mix to 1.4 kg bran, ordered from Sage Organics.
* We will add 10g a day to our compost - it should rot more effectively and with less smell!

One week later the Bokashi smells sweet and pleasant. We are using it
at Mary St. and several members and workers have taken some home.
