How about a traffic free street in Balsall Heath? "Living Streets" has many ideas, including "homezones"http://www.livingstreets.org.uk/ where the speed limit is 5mph and kids can play in the street. There was a Living Streets meeting in Birmingham Tuesday 10th May at 18.30, Carrs Lane Church ( City Centre, Carrs Lane).
