Your footprint on the earth

How we choose to travel, what we choose to eat, what we throw away, how we power and heat our homes and which products we buy from shops all have effects on our planet. “Ecological Footprints” are a way of measuring how much of the planet we are consuming and whether it is more than other people or less. The measure is only a guideline, but the results can be shocking. If everyone in the world consumed at the rate of a typical British person then we would need 3 Earths!
